After many New Year countdowns in Bangkok, this year we decided to change surroundings and went to one of the southern Thai cities -Phatthalung!
We joined the open ceremony on the 30th of December and celebrated New Year’s Eve at the local festival! Many great photo opportunities, a lot of delicious food, great cultural performances and thousands of smiles 🎉🎀🎊
The festival impressed us with its authentic. The Christmas Tree on the main street is extremely original as it was made from the fishnet and decorated with the traditional South-Thai elements🎄 It has a symbolic meaning as Phatthalung famous for the traditional fishing lifestyle.
