The Red Lotus Floating Market: do an epic drone shot in Thailand

The Red Lotus Floating Market is a new traveling place in Nakhon Pathom that was opened in 2017 🌸🌺🌸 Of course, we couldn’t miss this hidden gem from our travel radar!

Nakhon Pathom is a city in central part of Thailand and it’s a three-hour drive from Bangkok. Technically, the Red Lotus Floating Market is not a floating market but a red lotus pond where you can ride a boat for around half an hour (3,5$ for a trip)👨🏻‍🌾🌺🛶

Taking a drone shot

How did we get this amazing photo without owning a drone? 👨🏻‍🌾👨🏻‍🌾 Let us share with you all the details!

First of all, it is hard for tourists to use a drone in Thailand as you would need to register it. Luckily, the Red Lotus Floating Market has a drone service and you can buy a whole set of pictures from your boat ride for $10 or just purchase one pic for about $1.5🔆 We don’t own a drone (because Aon does not allow Lan to buy one😢) and it was a wonderful opportunity to make one of our best pictures together so far!👬

Instagram ideas

The Red Lotus Floating Market has an area around the lake where you can find a lot of delicious food and souvenirs. Also, there are many photo opportunities for your Insta-shots. Some of our examples below.

We’ve shared three photos from the Red Lotus Floating Market on our Instagram so far. Each time we’ve got around 2000 likes, which is above average for our account. Don’t miss the opportunity to have epic drone shots without owning a drone! 👨🏻‍🌾🌺🛶
