There are a total of 41,205 Buddhist temples (Thai: Wat) in Thailand this is just one and maybe a weird one. So this is just one part of Thailand and Southeast Asian culture. Temples are everywhere and they all have different architecture, art and some vary with interesting customs.
To give an example some temples only allow men (we disagree with the inequality of course), some are in the shape of animals others made out beer bottles (bottle), others have permanent guests (monkey) and there is even a David Beckham temple. So if you enjoy some cultural knowledge and want to be surprised along the way. Thailand has it all.
