Our 3 Days Staycation at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G (Review)

We always love Pullmann Hotels when we travel, but with all the limitations we weren’t able to go anywhere much. Gladly the last few months staycations became a huge trend in Thailand and when we chose a place in Bangkok, our choice was very obvious. We had an amazing escape for 2 nights and 3 days at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and ready to share our experience with you!

Location

Pullman Bangkok Hotel G is a beautiful hotel located at a prime location on Silom Road, close to many tourist attractions and Lumphini Park. It is convenient for anyone to come by car as we did. However, the most common public transportation is just nearby hotel: the Chong Nonsi BTS station (5 minutes walk) and MRT Silom Station (10 minutes walk). So it can be easy to navigate around Bangkok. Plus, Silom nightlife is truly iconic and most of the LGBTQ+ bars and restaurants in Bangkok located at Silom. But let’s back to the hotel.

First Impression

We arrived at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and went to the lobby to check-in. Our first impression was taken by the decoration and modern style, highlighted by bright colored wooden elements. The music, lights, and the whole atmosphere were on point! The staff was all professional, welcoming, and willing to answer any questions.

After a short conversation with the hotel staff, we took a key-card and headed to our room. Along the walkway, there were stylish decorations, paintings, and art installations in various styles. Even the elevator had a giant LCD screen with creative vibrant videos and chilling instrumental music.

Warm Welcome

While entering our room we were shocked to discover a personalized presentation with gifts and treats for us! There were sweet treats, local snacks, a chilled bottle of wine, a Butterfly-pea flower tea, a set of stickers, lots of rainbows, and our prints. We felt extremely special after seeing this incredible work of the hotel staff!

G Suite Room

The second ‘wow’ moment was when we saw our amazing modern white room overlooking the city. We stayed in G Suite with a white loft-style living room and a separate bedroom. Both had the floor-to-ceiling windows. Plus we had a spacious restroom with a bathtub and stylish shower.

The interior design felt cozy and looked stylish while the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The excellent view from the window deserves special attention. Our room was facing the Mahanakorn building, the tallest skyscraper in Bangkok.

Breakfast

Our breakfast was served on the 27th floor in the Executive Club rooms. The interior and view were once again very beautiful. The breakfast did not disappoint us as we had one of the best quality morning meals ever. We liked that Pullman Bangkok Hotel G has a buffet and a made to order menu. The buffet had fresh rolls, croissants, several types of fruits, juices, salads, yogurts, various bread, several types of cheeses, salami, salmon, and several other items. From a made to order menu, we had an Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and a Japanese breakfast set. Both dishes were excellent and delicious!

Pool & Facilities

The pool area has a great view of the Mahanakorn building as well! There are many facilities, including a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. We did not take photos as facilities located inside but it is very clean and nice. We went to the steam room a few times as well as soak in the jacuzzi. During our stay, the pool was always empty and we enjoyed the cool city vibes a lot!

Our wonderful staycation at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G turned out great! For us, Bangkok is rarely associated with vacation lately, although we just did not think that we could enjoy our hometown like tourists. It turned out the idea was great. And how did we not think of this beforehand? We enjoyed every minute of our wonderful stay and looking forward to being back for another staycation at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G!
