Each of us has a bucket list item nearby that we have been trying to reach and explore for years, but have been constantly postponing. What are some places which you have not discovered yet despite them being close by or in your backyard?

We often travel around Thailand, although in Bangkok itself there are still a whole bunch of places that seem to be incredible, we never got a chance to visit them. Wat Benchamabophit, better known as the Marble Temple, is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen! We have wanted to visit this stunning place for the past two years and finally, we made it happen!

It so happened that we came here on one of the Buddhist holidays. And despite the huge number of people around Bangkok old town, the main crowd came to pray in the other temples, leaving this beautiful view for us and our camera.

We came here purely by accident while walking with our friend. Initially, we wanted to finally visit Wat Pho and the Royal Palace, but we got tired of wandering around the center in search of parking and eventually parked a couple of blocks in a paid parking lot, caught a taxi, and drove off to… a completely different temple.

As it turned out this the spot, the three of us knew practically nothing about the Marble Temple, but we have prepared some fast facts about this beautiful temple for you!

5 interesting facts about Wat Benchamabophit (Marble Temple):
