We, as usual, did not plan anything and absolutely unexpectedly decided to try homestay for the first time. We thought it would be strange to live at someone’s house, but in the end, we liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay and instead of planned the last minute one night, we stayed three! 🏡
The local aunt was not only hospitable but also very kind to us. We felt at home! It was also absolutely unforgettable that the house was located on the river, so we not only enjoyed the views but simply relaxed, rested from the big city life.
To be honest, we thought that we would drive around and explore the area next to us, but since we got a huge territory overlooking the river, we just relaxed at our homestay most of the time, playing with a dog and a cat.
Since Amphawa is located on the river, nature here is truly stunning! Plus we still managed to visit the floating market, a local hipster coffee shop, and explore palm trees around🌴
