Why SO Sofitel Hua Hin?
Family friendly and relaxed, SO Sofitel Hua Hin also shows their support for the Pride Month in various ways, including special parties during June🌈
The resort is also not crowded even on weekends which is an awesome bonus for those who like to take pictures for Instagram.
And even we like to take photos, the main reason for us was a relaxing getaway to escape bustling Bangkok.
So our choice was obvious, and we didn’t doubt it even for a minute!👬 Let us share how we spend our small vacation in Hua Hin.
Where is it located?
SO Sofitel Hua Hin is located 30-40 minutes by car from Hua Hin city center. The city itself is 3 hours car drive from Bangkok with many varieties of transportation available, including a transfer service from the resort.
Things to do?
Luckily for us, SO Sofitel Hua Hin has a lot of offers to choose from to have an amazing time together. You can literally spend a few days there without going outside. The hotel has three swimming pools, including SO Signature Pool with Wibit Adventure Float, Kids Club, SO Wonderland Mini Golf (we played two days in a row), two tennis courts, bicycles (try a double seat bike!), table tennis and more. The hotel facilities are just incredible!
Drinking water is located everywhere in the resort, which is an important part for us.
The bed, the bathtub and the rain shower
Our room was amazing! The bed, the bathtub and the rain shower were the main reason why we stayed in a lot of the time. We actually went to Hua Hin just once to explore a local night market using SO Sofitel transfer service. That’s it!
Ohh, we almost forgot to mention the hit of our Instagram stories! The wardrobe was SO special. It had a smart TV (we were listening to our Spotify playlist on it) and it looked like a giant suitcase!
Food and Coffee
We are both coffee and tea lovers. And we were so excited to discover a capsule coffee machine inside of our room with some tea varieties as well and Thai snacks.
Every morning we had breakfast with a lot of coffee too! The resort staff was all super friendly and helpful, and we always had a coffee french press on our table. They also walk around from time to time to offer their guest the freshest croissants and other baked goods.
The food was great! The biggest surprise was to find a gluten-free section and a great variety of Thai traditional sweets and desserts. You can find a video review of the breakfast section in our IGTV account. We made a small clip to show you breakfast chilling vibes.
SO COOL!
To summarize, our room was MAGICAL, the food was great and the staff was super friendly. The hotel facilities are above our expectation! We will always remember our countless attempts to pass Wibit Adventure Float in SO Signature Pool. We played golf together for the first time and surely enjoyed every minute of it. Will we be back? Definitely! Next time we will bring with us all of our nieces and nephews!
